..And I think that'll stick.
Miss Laura wasn't too happy about Jenny using paint for the artwork since she asked us to use crayons only.
"You're ruining the texture of the paper! It is now weak, even if you use paint, this is too wet! Do it all over. NOW!" bellowed Miss Laura.
Jenny looked pretty pissed as she threw away the failed artwork and went to get another canvas to start on with. She came next to me and muttered, "I've fallen behind everyone already so what's the point?"
"The point is, you're not going to pass if you don't do it properly." said Miss Laura as she passed by Jenny without looking at her.
Jenny rolled her eyes and concentrated to do her work properly. The thing about Jenny is, once she can put her mind to something she wants to do, and want to succeed, watch her shine. She'll come up with something brilliant. I watched her as she set her steely gaze on her artwork and worked furiously to not be left behind.
I continued doing my artwork and add the finishing touches. Miss Laura came by and said, "Please put your finished artwork by my table." I went off to put it there. What happened next I could not believe.
"Hey. You're Jens' friend right?" said a voice and I turned to look.
I was staring into dreamy dark brown eyes that seems to make me stare at them wondering. I quickly set my eyes to Jens and said, "Yeah, you-you're her c-c-cousin r-right?" I could so slap myself for stuttering so stupidly.
"Yeah, nice to meet you. I'm Damien. I hope we could hang out someday." he said and smiled a smile i could die for.
"I'm Julie, nice to meet you too, yeah, we should hang out." I said it! In a perfect sentence too!
Damien said, "I'm currently staying with Jens' family, so I guess I'll see you often." and walked off to his table.
I was left shell-shocked for awhile and I paced ever so quickly towards our table to where Jenny was sitting.
"There! I'm done!" said Jenny as she was smiling to herself, looking quite pleased.
"You. Didn't. Tell. Me. You. Are. Staying. With. HIM!" I said quite softly only enough for her to hear.
"What? Oh, yeah, what's up with you? Its the first time I've ever seen you so gaga over a guy." said Jenny as she went off to put her canvas by the teacher's table.
Oh no. I think. I. Like. Him.
Yours Truly, Julie. ♥
