No, no, no, no, NO! This cannot be happening. I've never fallen for a guy before. NEVER! Oh gosh.
A little back then, I was walking to the cafeteria with Jenny and I said, "Hey, can I come over after school? Lets do our Maths homework together."
Jenny said, "What for? You're just going to copy off all my answers, right?" with a smirk on her face. Jenny is this, crazy, crazy, maths-programmed brain sort of person. She could answer any maths questions easily. She's also super smart in every single subject. Like, seriously.
"Come on, can't you even tutor your friend in need? I need help for Chemistry too." I said with a sort of please? way.
"Oh fine, I'll have my mum to pick the 3 of us up." said Jenny as we walked toward the line to get her food.
"3 of us?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah, and my cousin Damien too." she said as she took her food. "Aren't you eating anything?"
I stared down to my surprisingly empty tray. "Oh, right." I said and took my food too.
We walked to our usual spot by the windows (we like sunny spots) and sat down. I was staring at Damien again, he was sitting with some guys a few tables away. Suddenly, a group of girls surrounded their table.
"Hey, who do we have here? Someone new?" said Loretta Cheerland. What kind of name is Cheerland anyways? She was flirting outrageously with Damien and I could feel my face burning up in anger and jealousy. Damien looked like he didn't even notice anything. Which maybe he did not.
Wait, its not like he's even my boyfriend. Which is so not. Yet. Oh gosh.
"Come on, Jens, we gotta go for our next class." I said glumly.
The rest of the day was just a blur to me, I was thinking about Loretta and Damien. She seriously gets on my nerves.
"Are you listening to me?!" said Jen as she nudged me.
"Huh? What?" I said, in the normal, blur way.
"My mum can't pick us up, she has a meeting to attend, we'll have to walk back." she said as Damien walked over.
"Hey." said Damien. I swear he looked extra cute.
"H-hey." I stuttered. I was snapped out of my trance when my cell phone rang and vibrated violently in my pocket.
"Hello?" I answered the phone.
"Julie? This is Mum here, could you pick up Millie from the daycare centre on your way back? I've got an order I have to finish up as quick as possible," said my mum in her busy tone.
My mum is wonderful cook. Which made her way to becoming a wanted caterer for every event. But she does orders for her friend only, though.
"Okay, but I'll have to bring her to Jenny's house, I'm going over to study," I said.
"Alright, be home for dinner. Love you," she said and the line went off.
"Come on, we gotta pick Millie up from the daycare." I said while walking ahead.
We walked together while Jenny started chatting bout some stuff happening in school while I could help but take a quick glance at Damien. He was staring right at me. I turned away quickly, my face was burning in embarrassment!
At last, we arrived at the daycare centre, and I went in to pick Millie up. Millie's my sister. She only 3 years old and I swear she's the cutest thing I've ever seen. Apart from Millie, I've got 3 more brothers, James, Eric and Brandon.
James is 18, Eric and Brandon are twins, they're only 10. Millie is from our step father now, Bryan. Well... Our father left us. He comes back sometimes, though. It was last year, during the twins' birthday when he last came back. He comes for all our birthdays. He adores Millie too. He didn't leave us for some women, like they do in movies, he just... wanted to chase after his dreams. He's a world class cook, just what my mum dreams to be.
At last, we arrived to the daycare centre and picked Millie up and made our way to Jenny's house, which are there now.
Yours truly, Julie. ♥
